Current costs of the Sanctuary

If you would like to contribute to the upkeep and feeding of our resident birds, or support the running of the shelter work that we do rehabilitating injured birds, you can make a donation to the Sanctuary.

The costs associated with veterinary and food bills for our injured and sick birds of prey are often high. At certain times of the year when we have lots of injured birds on site, we tend to call on the goodwill of our local community to provide food (such as dead rabbits or mice) to help keep costs down. Also, there is general maintenance of enclosures and materials required to ensure all of the birds are kept in an appropriate and safe environment.

So, if you would like to donate and assist us with the running of the Sanctuary, you can make a donation using PayPal or by sending us a cheque.

If you make a donation to the Sanctuary of $20 or more, you will receive a certificate of appreciation and become one of our Friends of the Sanctuary, receiving regular updates on the birds, our activities and invitations to Sanctuary events.
